Absolutely amazing first experience. Made the hour road trip from Calgary to try the Schnitzel. Did not disappoint and was one of the thickest schnitzels with a crispy breading and great mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle. Also tried the Tapas Platter for an appie and Steak Frites with whisky peppercorn sauce. Fantastic service, cute and quaint space, and the food was fantastic. Overall wonderful and worth the trip.
Fantastic little place. The vibe is immaculate, and they have honest to god chefs in the kitchen. I'm not 100% sure because I forgot to ask, but the pasta looks and tastes like it's made in-house. The pappardelle was absolutely amazing, as was their Greek appetizer plate that was on special. I got a wrap that was really good, but I was jealous of my table mate's pasta the entire time. Pricing is pretty average, if you just stick to entrees and non-alcoholic drinks, you could get away with a nice date night for 50-60. Not only are they a restaurant though, they're also a cafe and bar. You can come in for a coffee and pastry to-go in the morning, a sandwich for lunch, and top it off with a handcrafted cocktail and handmade pasta for dinner, with a scoop of gelato for dessert. I hope this place stays in Didsbury for a long time to come, it's a little hidden gem.
Popped in to grab a coffee to go. Did not try the food but what we saw others eating looked amazing. Very friendly service will go back and eat there sometime soon
I took my girls to the 1906 for a nice dinner, and it was lovely! Excellent service, beautiful locati9n and amazing food! Can I give them 6 out of 5 stars?
When I say the food is authentic, I mean it. The schnitzel took us right back to our month long road trip through Germany. Our entire meal was absolute perfection - start to finish. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, clearly passionate about what they do, and the restaurant. Bravo, we will be back again!!
OK, this is probably our favorite new place. Food is amazing and staff are awesome. The hot beverages were perfect. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.
This is a most go place!!! Food this fabulous and their Gelato is so so good!!! All the staff and especially the chef has this professional service which makes the customer so special. Highly recommend place! Thank you so much for making our family dinner so special!
I had lunch here for the first time on the weekend. What a lovely little place. The food was very good and I don't think there was any issue with anyone's meal in our group. Friendly servers from the moment that I walked in to when I left.
